On Wednesday, the Bears ventured off site to a nearby woodland for their first outing. In line with our sight topic, we explored the landscape by observing our surroundings, looking up and down, as well as underneath and behind. Prior to our departure, the children received a safety briefing, and their behaviour was outstanding.

Things we spotted

Ladybird, dragonfly, yellow flowers, a bird box, a wonky tree, gigantic mushrooms, pinecones, leaves, berries, conkers, a redwood tree, new soaking growing int he grass rains clouds, a spider dangling from a web and a huge pile of wood chip ,We took part in a few races, and Miss Nikki delighted us with our new Gruffalo Granny tale.
