Hampson pre school

Our new topic over the next two weeks will centre around Autumn. We have discussed the changes that come with this season with the children.

This week, the children thoroughly enjoyed our yoga session, where they explored various calming instruments, balanced balls between their feet, and demonstrated different yoga poses.

Additionally, they had great fun during our music to movement session, playing various musical instruments to different songs while pretending to be dinosaurs and scarecrows.

The children also took pleasure in collecting an assortment of leaves in different shades, along with twigs and bark, to craft their own unique autumnal wreaths.

In our maths session, we incorporated an autumn theme to create alternating patterns. The children used their index fingers to count along a line of objects, showcasing their mathematical skills.

If you happen to go for a lovely autumnal walk this weekend, please collect and bring in acorns and pinecones that we can utilise in next week's sessions and activities.
