This morning, we had a fantastic visit from local author Jay Walternash, who shared his story with the Forest School and Hampson Bears 🐻. The children engaged happily with Jay after the reading, discussing animals and celebrating World Book Day this Thursday, as well as World Wildlife Day today! We’ve had such a fun week exploring lots of different fairytales and it made for so many fun new learning opportunities for our bears. We were thrilled to celebrate World Wetlands Day on Monday! The children ventured into the forest with Miss Sarah, gathering materials to create their very own wetland. They thought about the types of creatures that might inhabit it, coming up with some fascinating answers.
