We’ve had such a fun week exploring lots of different fairytales and it made for so many fun new learning opportunities for our bears. Some of the activities this week were:
Paper plate bears- the children loved painting the plates and discussing which bear from Goldilocks they would be!
Fairy wands- the children used a variety of different craft materials to decorate their own fairy wands! Abracadabra!

Princess dresses- alongside our dressing up we decorated our own princess dresses with stickers, Pom poms and feathers!

Play dough bread- we made our own play dough bread like the little red hen, exploring different ways to prepare bread such as kneading and twisting.
Little pigs houses- we build houses of straw, sticks and bricks just like the three little pigs, the children loved gluing the materials to our houses.
Hansel and Gretal cakes- We made pretend cakes just like all the sweets in the witch’s house! Using lots of different things to decorate
Beanstalk counting- The children used leaves to build their own magic beanstalk counting the leaves as they build.
Puppet shows- we were treated to special puppet shows of the three little pigs and Goldilocks and the three bears, so much fun!

And much much more! Including a visit from our Spanish teacher and superstar sports! Big well done to our star of the week!

For our next Spanish class our lovely teacher has asked if the children can bring in pictures of their family for her next teaching topic, we would love to see all your pictures!

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and we’re very excited for next week’s theme of valentines/friendship!
